Solar telescope is ready!
The solar telescope comes into operation for the 2023 season, with a primary mirror made by us not aluminized, it promises beautiful images and safe observation!

The 25 cm mirror started at the beginning of 2021 is finished, we had put the project on hiatus during the summer. The resumption in the fall allowed us to parabolize the mirror and make it suitable for observing the stars. A huge thank you to Franck Griere and Daniel Palazy without whom this project will not have succeeded.

Since this winter we have launched into the size of a 25 cm mirror. Starting from a block of raw glass and shaping it to observe planets and galaxies, this is the challenge that we are going to try to meet! The photos of the manufacturing steps here.

Now all our rooms are equipped with private bathrooms and WCs.
Meals and breakfasts, if taken, are served individually.
The cleaning is done according to the recommendations of the state with the appropriate products.
Evenings "Dive into the stars" are and will remain private, a material disinfection protocol is implemented and social distancing is respected.
As for us, we will always be as happy to welcome you, the kiss is less :)

How to get to Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val?
To reach le Refuge aux étoiles: by car, from Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val head for the cave Bosc (D75), then cross the hamlet of Bosc de la Cam and take the direction Foyt, go to end of the small road, you are there !!!
GPS: with Mappy, Tom Tom or Google maps simply enter "Le Refuge aux étoiles".
